1. What information is collected?

We collect only personally identifiable information that is specifically and voluntarily provided by you to our websites. The collection of your personal data on the Site will be facilitated by Materialogic. "Personal data" means information about you and/or third parties (where required by law, a third party could be a legal entity represented by you e.g. where you submit data to us about your employer or a client company).

Our collection of personal data will be limited to the information required to process your subscription request, email instructions on how to register your computer(s) in order to access the four quarterly encrypted PDF files in your one-year subscription, monitor your PDF activity, process service requests, and contact you for annual renewals. We do not generally seek to collect sensitive data through this Site. If we do seek to collect such data we will ask you to consent to the uses we propose to make of the data. Personal data collected by us may be transferred to other PwC firms, which are member firms of the global network, where it is necessary to meet the purpose for which you have submitted the information. By submitting data on our Site, you are providing explicit consent to cross border transmission of data collected on our Site for the fulfillment of your requests.

Data will only be disclosed to certain types of staff within PwC and/or Materialogic (i.e. staff whose job it is to process your inquiries or orders) and they will only process the data for the purposes identified in this Privacy Statement.

We do not collect or compile personally identifying information for dissemination or sale to outside parties for consumer marketing purposes, or host mailings on behalf of third parties. In some situations, you may submit personal data directly to third parties who supply services to us in connection with this Site (such as registering you for an event or processing credit cards to fulfill an order). Before submitting personal data you will be informed if this is the case and whether that entity will process personal data pursuant to this Privacy Statement or another privacy statement and will be given the name and contact details of the entity to whom you are submitting personal data. 6. How long is personal data retained?

We will keep your personal data only as long as it is reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Statement and in compliance with PwC.s data retention policies. Contact information about visitors (e.g. information generated though registration for access to areas on the Site) will be kept as long as the information is required to completely service the contact request or until a user requests that we delete that information. Materialogic will retain your personal data for as long as reasonably necessary, either as required by their internal requirements or as requested by PwC.

When personal data is retained, PricewaterhouseCoopers assumes responsibility for keeping an accurate record of the information once a visitor has submitted and verified the data. We do not assume responsibility for verifying the ongoing accuracy of the content of personal information.

7. How is personal data secured? Materialogic has implemented generally accepted standards of technology, including Secure Socket Layer (SSL), and operational security in order to protect personal information from loss, misuse, alteration or destruction. However, the nature of the Internet is, of course, such that the data may flow over networks without appropriate security measures and may be accessed and used by unauthorized persons. Only authorized PwC personnel are provided access to personally identifiable information and these employees have agreed to ensure confidentiality of this information.

8. Are cookies used on the Site?

Cookies may be used on some pages of our Site. "Cookies" are small text files placed on your hard drive to assist in providing a more customized website experience. For example, a cookie can be used to store registration information in an area of the Site so that a user does not need to re-enter it on subsequent visits to that area. It is Materialogic's policy to use cookies to make the navigation of this Site easier for visitors and to facilitate efficient registration procedures. Site statistics are compiled by third parties, and therefore your IP address will be passed to third parties for statistical reporting only. If you are concerned about cookies, most browsers permit individuals to decline cookies. In most cases, a visitor may refuse a cookie and still fully navigate this Site, however other functionality in the Site may be impaired. After termination of the visit to our Site, you can always delete the cookie from your system if you wish.

In order to properly manage our Site we may pass log information on to our operational systems, and identify categories of visitors by items such as domains and browser types. These statistics are reported in the aggregate to our webmasters. This is to ensure that our Site presents the best web experience for visitors and is an effective information resource.
